Open BrokerBridge, start on the free Local account with simulated money, and bring an idea to Chat. Your first plan is free to review.
Available on Windows PC and Apple Silicon Mac. The Local account needs no access code, card or broker connection.

Setup screens vary by release. Use the installed-version table to find the instructions for your app.
Choose where to trade
- Local account. Simulated money and free AI questions with selected free models. No broker, card, or account code.
- Paper. IBKR Paper or the NT8 Sim account: the same plans, your rules and approvals, with real market data and no real money.
- Live. Your own brokerage account. On live accounts the first order needs you to type LIVE.
Credits pay for AI model turns and enable Interactive Brokers or NinjaTrader 8 connections. The app and Local account are free.
Get BrokerBridge
Open the download page. Enter your email address and choose a username; first and last name are optional. The installer starts right away, and we email you the link as well. No phone number, BrokerBridge account, access code, or broker connection is required. The browser demo needs no email.
Install and open BrokerBridge
- On a Mac with Apple Silicon, open the downloaded .dmg file.
- Drag BrokerBridge into the Applications folder in that window.
- Open BrokerBridge from Applications. macOS asks “Are you sure you want to open it?” Click Open. It’s notarized by Apple.
Intel Macs are not supported. Windows is supported. Check the download page for the current installer; if availability cannot be confirmed, contact support. NinjaTrader 8 needs a Windows PC. See system requirements before you download.
Choose an AI and set your rules
Pick your model (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, or DeepSeek), then set the limits you want BrokerBridge to enforce (how much it can risk, how many trades it can hold, and more). BrokerBridge credits are a pay-as-you-go way to cover AI use, bought and topped up from the dashboard.
On the newer setup, verify model access to use 10 daily AI tests on Local with selected free models. Check the allowance and eligible models shown in your app. Personal Credits activation enables order execution and paid models; the daily free allowance continues after purchase. The earlier Windows installer has a different access flow. Follow its displayed result and the version table rather than assuming every model is free or that every screen matches.
If managed model access is unavailable and setup offers Use Local Demo, choose it to continue learning. Local Demo uses fixed workflows, not an AI model, and its written outlines do not create saved plan cards. Start with the fictional practice plan; it requires no model or order. See it in action
Click Launch BrokerBridge. The packaged app opens its local service at http://127.0.0.1:8400. Open Chat in your selected account, describe one market idea, and review the entry, stop, target, size, thesis, and rule results before you approve or reject the plan. Choose Local to practice without real money. Use the draft-only wording in the first practice lesson; a direct buy or sell request can submit a Local order.
Ready to connect a real account?
Connecting Interactive Brokers is a separate step, not a different app. Choose the setup path in this order: create and verify your BrokerBridge account, choose how you will pay for AI, install and activate the desktop app, connect your chosen supported account, confirm your rules, then choose how you want to approve trades.
Already installed? Verify access or open your account to continue setup. For paid model usage, choose AI credits from $10. Your setup email subscription is separate from signing in to your account.
For each strategy, choose one of three ways to approve its trades: Supervised (you approve every trade), I confirm from the alert (you tap to confirm within a time window), or I approve the strategy up front (standing approval in writing, inside limits you set). You can withdraw that approval at any moment, and every trade still runs your rules no matter which one you pick.
Chat instructions have their own effect: an explicit buy, sell, or close-now request can authorize action without another approval button. For an explanation only, say “Do not place, approve, or change any order.” That wording also prevents saving a plan. To save a draft for review, use the exact prompt in the first practice lesson. The Chat lesson explains the permissions, including a live confirmation that can remain valid for later requests in the same chat and destination.
Uninstall (remove everything)
Open BrokerBridge Installer and click Uninstall Everything. This removes the app and the BrokerBridge data stored on your computer.
Export any records you want to keep first. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data; it does not close or change your brokerage account.
